Debating

The Debating program at Suraya Bilkis Chitto Bitto Bidyapith (SBCBB) is designed to develop students’ critical thinking, communication skills, and confidence in expressing ideas. Through structured debates, students learn to present arguments logically, listen respectfully to opposing views, and communicate effectively.

Debating encourages students to research topics thoroughly, analyze different perspectives, and develop well-reasoned opinions. Participation in debates helps students improve public speaking skills, vocabulary, and clarity of expression while fostering intellectual curiosity.

The debating activities at SBCBB include classroom debates, inter-house competitions, and participation in inter-school debate programs. Students are guided by teachers to develop debate techniques such as argument construction, rebuttal, teamwork, and time management.
