Surayabilkis School

Curriculum

At Suraya Bilkis Chitto Bitto Bidyapith (SBCBB), our curriculum is designed to provide a balanced, inclusive, and progressive education that nurtures academic excellence, moral values, and practical life skills. We follow the national curriculum while integrating modern teaching methodologies to meet the evolving needs of learners.

Curriculum Philosophy

The curriculum at SBCBB emphasizes student-centered learning, critical thinking, and character development. We believe education should inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence, preparing students to succeed academically and socially in a rapidly changing world.

Early Years Curriculum

The Early Years curriculum focuses on activity-based and play-oriented learning. Children are encouraged to explore their environment, develop language and motor skills, and build positive social interactions. Learning experiences are designed to foster curiosity, independence, and emotional development in a safe and caring environment.

Primary Curriculum

At the Primary level, students receive strong foundational instruction in core subjects such as Bangla, English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Lessons are designed to develop reading, writing, numeracy, and problem-solving skills. Creative activities, moral education, and basic ICT exposure are integrated into daily learning.

Secondary Curriculum

The Secondary curriculum builds subject depth and academic discipline. Students engage in structured learning that develops analytical thinking, subject understanding, and exam readiness. Emphasis is placed on academic responsibility, research skills, and preparation for board examinations, while continuing to support personal growth and ethical values.

Teaching & Learning Approach

SBCBB adopts a blended approach to teaching that combines traditional instruction with modern classroom practices. Teachers use interactive methods, group work, multimedia resources, and continuous assessment to enhance understanding and engagement.

Co-Curricular Integration

The curriculum is enriched through co-curricular activities such as sports, cultural programs, debates, art, and community engagement. These activities help students develop leadership skills, teamwork, discipline, and self-expression.

Moral & Character Education

Moral values, discipline, and respect are core elements of the SBCBB curriculum. Students are guided to become responsible citizens with strong ethical principles, empathy, and social awareness.

Closing Statement

Through a well-structured and values-based curriculum, Suraya Bilkis Chitto Bitto Bidyapith strives to develop confident learners who are academically capable, morally grounded, and prepared for future challenges.
